Nose: A burst of wild strawberries, raspberries, and citrus, tempered by malt, and seasoned with vanilla and herbs. 21/25

Taste: A peppery, malty layer with flavours of berries, lemon and yellow plums. 17/25

Finish: A nice warm and oily lingering berry flavour, but with a distinct note of bitter oak. 13/25

Style: Very drinkable, it feels like the total is more than the sum of the parts. 23/25

Total: This is one of the main stays in my collection, one of the few I'll buy a new bottle of before the old one is empty. At least that's what I thought until the 18 year old came out. 74/100
